WhatsApp Document Capture Flow

This guide walks you through the document upload process using WhatsApp and Mobiloan’s secure document uploader.

Step 1: Start the WhatsApp Conversation

• Open the WhatsApp chat with the Mobiloan Document Uploader.

• Send a simple greeting message (e.g., “Hi”) to initiate the chat.

• The system will reply with a secure Document Uploader message.

• Tap Upload Documents to begin the upload process.

Step 2: Select Identification Method

Once the uploader opens, you’ll first be prompted to verify your identity.

• Choose your ID type:

  • RSA ID Number, or

  • Passport Number.

• This helps link your documents to your Mobiloan profile.

Step 3: Enter Your ID Information

• After selecting your identification method, enter your RSA ID Number (13 digits) or Passport Number.

• Once completed, tap the Complete button at the bottom of the screen to proceed.

Step 4: Choose the Documents to Upload

You’ll now see a list of document types required for submission.

• Select one or more items from the list, such as:

  • Bank Card

  • Bank Statement

  • Identity Document || Passport

  • Payslip

  • Selfie

Each document status will initially display as Pending.

Step 5: Select A Document Type - Bank Statement (as an example)

When you select a document type, you’ll be asked how you would like to send it:

• Choose or take a photo – open your camera or gallery.

• Choose a document – upload a file directly from your phone storage.

Step 6: Attach Your Document

• After selecting your upload method, attach the appropriate file (e.g., PDF, PNG, or JPEG).

• You can add multiple files if needed.

• Once the upload appears in the “Attach Document” section, click Done to confirm.

Step 7: Review Document Readiness

After uploading, the Document Uploader screen updates automatically.

• Uploaded documents will now show a Ready status (green indicator).

• Continue uploading any other required files.

• When you’re finished, tap Review Documents at the bottom of the page.

Step 8: Confirm Uploaded Documents

The Submit Documents screen will display a summary of all files you’ve added.

• Verify that each required document type shows as Ready (green).

• When you’re satisfied, tap Submit Documents to complete the upload.

Step 9: Submission Confirmation

Once the submission is complete:

• You’ll receive a confirmation response in WhatsApp showing “Response sent” under Upload Documents.

• This confirms that your files were delivered to the system successfully.

✅ That’s it! Your documents have now been securely submitted to Mobiloan via WhatsApp. The loan officer or processing agent can check and confirm your uploads directly from the Mobiloan platform.
