Welcome to the Mobiloan Reporting Module

Reports are grouped into three main categories—Standard, Purchased, and Custom—collectively called the Report Suite. There is also a separate category for Advanced Reports with specialized filters.

Most reports support CSV or Excel export, which is helpful for viewing results over 1,000 rows. To begin, simply select the relevant reporting suite.

Screen Layout and Features

The Home Page displays a table of reports that you can search to find the one that best fits your needs. Each report has a unique ID for easy reference.

Report Table Columns

The reporting table includes key columns that are helpful to understand, making it easier to navigate and get familiar with Mobiloan's standard report suite.

ID

Unique identifier for each standard report.

Name

Title or description of the report, often including purpose and grouping logic.

Category

Classification of the report based on its function (e.g., Age Analysis, Client).

Filter

Applied data filter criteria (e.g., time period, client status, loan status).

Grouping

The data dimensions used for grouping the report (e.g., Branch, Date, Loan).

Role Access

Specifies which user roles or entities (e.g., Branch, Company) can view report.

Last Updated

The last date the report definition or configuration was updated.

Standard Report Filters

Each report is unique in the type of data it represents. Mobiloan provides users with a reporting filter dialog to tailor the report results based on specific criteria

Common Report Filters

As seen in the screenshot below, the Submit Report Dialog displays all the filters that are associated with most reports:

Select Categories

Select Client Statuses

Select Loan Statuses

Select Loan Date Filter

Date Preselect

Quickly apply a predefined date range like "This Month" or "Last Month."

Start Date

Manually set the report's starting date if no preselect is used.

End Date

Manually set the report's ending date if no preselect is used.

Bad Debt Filters

A simple filter for bad debt loan status based on the loan account closure date (Written Off / Handed Over), where the installment receipts amounts are unrecognizable income.

All standard loan-based reports relying on the LOAN table can be filtered by Bad Debt Status, including "Written Off," "Handed Over," or "Account Closed."

You have the option to filter the displayed results based on your preference. The available choices include:

  1. All Loans (Unfiltered): This option allows you to view all loan records in the database without any filters applied. It provides a comprehensive overview of both good and bad loans.

  2. All Loans Excluding Bad Debt: By selecting this filter, you can view a list of loans that excludes those categorized as bad debt.

  3. Bad Debt Loans Only: This filter option narrows down the results to exclusively display loans that are classified as bad debt.

Enabling the Bad Debt Filter Status

If you want to filter your reports based on the bad debt status of a loan, follow these steps to enable the new reporting module:

  1. Go to Setup: Log in to your account and navigate to the Setup section.

  2. Access Configuration: From the Setup menu, select Configuration.

  3. Select Reporting: Click on Reporting to access the reporting options.

  4. Enable Bad Debt Module: Look for the option to enable the new reporting bad debt module and turn it on.

Once enabled, you can customize your reports to include or exclude loans based on their bad debt status, allowing for more targeted insights and better decision-making.

Other Tools

Additional tools which may be useful are found within the same "Submit Report" dialog .

Access a chronological list of all past report generations:

  • View, re-run, or export previous results.

  • Useful for auditing or trend analysis.

Report Queue

For large datasets:

  • Click the Queue Report (☁️) icon.

  • Continue working while the report is processed in the background.

  • A notification will alert you once the report is ready.

  • Completed reports appear in Report History.

Custom Edit (SQL Mode)

Advanced users can manually edit the SQL logic behind report filters:

  • Access this option through the filter modal.

  • Only proceed if you are confident working with SQL syntax.

  • Incorrect use may cause the report to fail.

Step 3 - Working with Reporting Data

After you submit your report, Mobiloan will execute them against its dedicated MySQL database. This database is updated hourly, but can also be manually synchronized if needed.

If the query returns results, we will automatically format and display them. The first 1,000 rows will be shown directly. If the result set exceeds 1,000 rows, you will be prompted with the option to download the full results in Excel or CSV format.

Working with the Results Table The results table is interactive and customizable, offering the following features:

  • Global Search: Quickly filter the table using keyword-based searches.

  • Column Filters: Apply individual filters on columns for a more refined view.

  • Clickable Cells: Some cells are interactive, linking to more detailed information or available actions.

  • Customizable Layout: Adjust the table’s display settings to match your preferences.

The Utility Bar enhances your reporting experience with several powerful tools:
