The Sync to Google Sheets feature allows you to synchronize data from a specific Mobiloan report directly into a Google Sheet.
Start by selecting the report (from the table of standard reports) that you wish to sync to a Google Spreadsheet.
The dialog depicted below will assist you in initating the synchronize
Determine your synchronization cycle :
Once Now: Perform a one-time sync immediately.
Daily Sync: Schedule the sync to happen once a day.
Hourly Sync: Schedule the sync to happen once every hour..
Date Filter : Use this option to define the dynamic date range of the results you wish to synchronize.
Limit Results: you can set a row limit for the sync. For instance, if you specify a limit of 1000 rows, only the first 1000 rows of the report will be synced to Google Sheets
By combining this with a sync schedule, you can automate the creation of synchronized backups of Mobiloan reports.
If you plan to regularly sync this report with the same settings, you can click Save Settings.
This ensures that you won’t have to re-enter your preferences each time you want to perform a sync.
Finally, click Sync Now to initiate the synchronization process. The data will be exported to your designated Google Sheet, allowing you to work with the data from Mobiloan reports directly in Google Sheets.
By using this feature, you can maintain a seamless connection between your Mobiloan data and Google Sheets, making it easier to review, share, and collaborate on financial reports without having to manually export and import data.
Mobiloan will create a new spreadsheet for you. You can find it by clicking on a link that we'll show you. This spreadsheet is yours, but Mobiloan will use it to keep your information up-to-date.
🧑💻Spreadsheet Ownership
This spreadsheet is essentially yours, but it's hosted on Mobiloan's Google Workspace account for security and efficiency. You'll receive a link to access this spreadsheet.
You can share the spreadsheet with others, but be mindful that they'll also have access to the data. If you're sharing sensitive information, consider using Google's built-in sharing controls to restrict access.
We advise that you periodically check who has access to the spreadsheet and remove unnecessary permissions.
Suppose you want to maintain a shared spreadsheet that always shows clients with birthdays on the current day. The method you're most familiar with involves repeatedly generating the standard report 116 – Client Birthdays – and checking for today's birthdays.
By utilizing the online spreadsheet synchronization feature, you can set up a daily synchronization schedule to keep the report updated. Then, simply grab the link to the online spreadsheet.
Share this link, and you'll notice the spreadsheet automatically refreshes each day with the updated birthday information.
