Bad Debt Date Filters
Filtering Reports by Bad Debt Status
You can filter your loan reports based on each loan’s bad debt status. This allows you to include or exclude loans that have been classified as bad debt, providing clearer insights and more precise reporting.
Enabling the Bad Debt Reporting Module
To activate this feature:
- Go to Setup – Log in to your account and open the Setup section. 
- Access Configuration – In the Setup menu, select Configuration. 
- Select Reporting – Click Reporting to view available reporting options. 
- Enable Bad Debt Module – Turn on the option for the Bad Debt Reporting Module. 
Once enabled, you’ll be able to apply bad debt filters to all standard loan-based reports. For more information, click on the link below
After enabling the module, all standard reports can be filtered according to a loan’s Bad Debt Status, including categories such as:
- Written Off Loans 
- Handed Over Loans, and 
- Account Closed Loans 
The Bad Debt Status Filter can be accessed within the report filters dialog- before pullng a report.

Using the Bad Debt Status Filter
The Bad Debt Status Filter identifies loans marked as bad debt based on their account closure conditions, such as being Written Off or Handed Over.
When generating a report, you can choose one of the following filter options:
- All Loans (Unfiltered) – Displays all loan records, including both good and bad debt. 
- All Loans Excluding Bad Debt – Shows only active or good loans, excluding any marked as bad debt. 
- Bad Debt Loans Only – Restricts the report to loans classified as bad debt.
