Capture Required Documents

Mobiloan streamlines the document submission process, making it simple and efficient. With a guided approach, the system ensures that each document is captured one at a time, providing a clear and structured workflow.

When you access the document upload screen, it will display document capture blocks, highlighting the specific documents required for this client.

Select a capture block to begin the process!

Capture with Camera

If you have a physical copy of the document, you can quickly capture an image using your device’s camera. Follow these steps for best results:

  • Tap "Take Photo" – This will activate your device’s camera.

  • Frame the Document Properly – Ensure that the entire document is visible, with no edges cut off.

  • Check for Readability – Text should be sharp and clearly legible.

  • Use Proper Lighting – Avoid dark or shadowed areas to prevent blurry or unclear sections.

Upload from Files

If the document is already available in digital format, you can upload it directly from your device’s storage.

  • Tap "Select Photo" – Choose an image from your device’s photo gallery.

  • Tap "Select File" – Browse your file storage and select the relevant document (e.g., PDFs, scanned images).

The screenshot below illustrates how to upload a Bank Statement using the file selection option. However, please note that other document types may be required depending on the specific loan application.

Once you’ve successfully captured or uploaded a document, simply repeat the process until all necessary documents have been added.


Using the Rotate Tool

The Rotate Tool in Mobiloan helps you fix the orientation of uploaded documents like scanned images or PDFs. Whether a file was uploaded sideways or upside-down, this tool makes it easy to rotate or flip the document before finalizing.

To get started:

  1. Tap the Secondary Options button.

  2. Select Rotate Tool from the drop down.

  3. Choose a rotation angle:

    • 90°, 180°, 270°

  4. Tap Done or Save to apply the changes.

The rotated version will automatically replace the original file. Thumbnails and previews are also updated.


Digital Bank Statements

This feature allows for the digital import of a client's bank statement directly from their bank, streamlining the loan application process.

Mobiloan relies on Finch Technologies to communicate directly with banks, fetching and updating the most recent and official bank statement and related details.

It automatically finds or creates bank statements, retrieves transactions, and uploads the relevant data. Mobiloan then organizes this information into a digital bank statement format, where transactions and PDF files are easily accessible.

Uploading Documents via WhatsApp

Clients can upload documents directly via WhatsApp by clicking on a link or scanning a QR code.

On the client’s Document screen, locate the button labeled ‘WhatsApp documents’ at the bottom of the page, as shown below.

Step 1 - Select the WhatsApp Documents Button

A second screen will appear - allowing you to review all documents captured- once again- Click on the WhatsApp documents button.


A popup will appear titled ‘WhatsApp Documents.’ This screen provides multiple options for initiating document uploads via WhatsApp.

You’ll see:

  • Instructions explaining how clients can send their documents using WhatsApp.

  • A QR code that users can scan.

  • A shareable link that can be copied and sent to the client.

Scan QR Code

Ask the client to:

  1. Open WhatsApp on our mobile device.

  2. Scan the QR code displayed in the popup.

Alternatively, you can copy the auto-generated WhatsApp Share Link and send it to the client. When opened, this link will automatically start a WhatsApp chat where the client can upload the required documents.


Step 3 - Send an initial message and follow the capture steps via WhatsApp

Open up the WhatsApp chat (via QR scan or shared link) and send a first initial message.

This will prompt the guided WhatsApp prompts to:

  • Select the document type.

  • Choose a file from their gallery or take a new photo.

  • Automatically send it to Mobiloan.

Once the client has submitted their documents:

  1. Return to the WhatsApp Documents popup screen.

  2. Click the Check button (shown with a red arrow in the screenshot).

The system will automatically check for new documents and import them into the client’s document records.

When the import is complete:

  • Uploaded files will appear under Latest Client Documents on the Documents page.

  • You can view or verify each uploaded document directly from this list.
