Payroll Remittance

Welcome to the Payroll Remittance Tool!

The Payroll Remittance Tool is designed for businesses that offer loans through payroll deduction. It provides an efficient way to send, track, and bulk receipt your branches payroll loans.

A payroll remittance is a detailed summary of loan installment repayments made by borrowers. These payments are collected by a debtor representative on behalf of the credit provider and correspond to the specified repayment period.

Operators are required to issue Payroll Remittances to employers via email, ensuring accurate record-keeping and streamlined repayment processing.


The Remittance History Table provides a comprehensive list of all remittances issued by the current operator.

Select an existing remittance from the History Table to access further remittance options, which include

  • Batch Receipt

  • Create instalment receipt transactions all loans that match that match the user-defined payroll - remittance query.

  • View PDF

  • View the PDF of the selected payroll remittance, or chose to share via the standard sharing methods.

  • Download CSV

  • Download a CSV exported version of the remittance transactions.

  • Email Remittance

  • Generate an outbound email body and automatically include the payroll remittance to the payroll's representative email.

  • Delete Remittance

  • Delete the selected remittance.


Creating a New Remittance

The New Payroll Remittance Dialog allows you to generate payroll remittances by specifying the desired filters such as payroll branch, employer, date range, installment statuses, loan statuses, and client hold statuses .

To generate a payroll remittance, configure the following filters:

a. Payroll Branch:

  • Select the appropriate branch from the dropdown menu (e.g., Copper Creek).

b. Employer:

  • Choose an employer from the dropdown list. If left unspecified, you will be prompted to select one before proceeding.

c. Date Preselect:

  • Select a predefined date range from the dropdown (e.g., Last Month).

d. Installment Start & End Period:

  • Specify the date range by entering the start and end dates (e.g., Feb 1, 2025 to Feb 28, 2025).

e. Installment Statuses:

  • Choose one or more applicable options:

    • Due in Period

    • Overdue

    • Overpaid

    • Collected (Unchecked by default)

f. Loan Statuses:

  • Mark the relevant loan statuses for inclusion:

    • Active

    • Disputed

    • Terms Extended

    • Handed Over

    • Written Off

    • Deceased

g. Client Hold Statuses:

  • Select applicable client hold statuses to include:

    • Active

    • Management Hold

    • Deceased

    • Bad Debt Hold

    • Debt Review Hold

    • External Debt Collector Hold

    • Payment Dispute Hold

    • Fraud Hold

    • Refund Hold

    • Employment Termination Hold

    • Public Default Hold

    • Judgement Hold

    • Court Notice Hold

    • Admin Order Hold

h. Employer Information (Optional):

  • Click the “Employer Info” icon for additional details or support related to the chosen employer.


Publishing The Remittance

Once all the necessary filters are applied, click the “Search” button located at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Click the “Cancel” button at the bottom-left corner of the screen to abort the process and return to the previous menu.

Before publishing, you may review all the installments displayed in the results. You can select a line item to either:

  • Exclude a specific installment from the remittance.

  • Access the Client Menu / Ledger for further actions.

Once published - a new item will appear in the Remittance History Table.


Additional Options

The Actions Panel provides several options for exporting payroll remittance data

  • Next 100 - View the next 100 remittances - if available.

  • Export : Save the table data in a CSV or Excel format for further analysis or reporting.

  • Summary : Provides a 6-month overview of payroll remittances issued by operators. The data is presented in a clear, tabular format and includes the following information:
