Allps Setup

Welcome to the Allps Setup Page

This guide will walk you through the steps required to enable Amplifin integration within your instance. Most of the initial configuration will be done on the Allps-i website, so it's essential to have a user with master access and login credentials available for this step.

The setup will be administered by an Amplifin / Mobiloan Support User once the following prerequisites are met:

  1. You have been invited to the Amplifin Integration Activation Meeting.

  2. You have signed the Amplifin Integration Checklist.

  3. You have received a branch code.

These conditions must be fulfilled before enabling any Amplifin-related functionality.

Outline of the Integration Setup

This documentation covers the following steps:

Step 1 - Creating Branch and Master Integration Users

In this step, you will create integration users on Allps-i, specifically a Branch User and a Master User. Each user will have unique login credentials and individual configurations.

Once created, these users will be linked to Mobiloan as Allps profiles in the Allps Setup Page.

The screenshot below shows how the newly created Branch and Master Users are linked to Mobiloan as the end product.

Branch and Master Profiles

Branch Profiles are used for everyday Allps actions e.g. employer, client, loan promissory, loan payout and loan receipting.

Master Profiles are used for non-standard and override Allps actions e.g. loan payout reattempts and agent commission payouts.

Initiating the Integration Process

  1. Log in to Allps-i using the Master User credentials and navigate to the "User" tab and thereafter select "New User

  2. Using the default naming convention, enter a Full Name and use the same for Logon Name

  3. Leave the email address field blank.

  4. Set the status to active.

  5. Set the user type to integration.

  6. Save and do this for both the branch and master users

Passwords:

Generate a strong, secure password and store it safely—either by writing it down or saving it in a password manager.

For optimal security, ensure your password includes a mix of: ✔ Uppercase & lowercase lettersNumbersSpecial characters (e.g., @, #, $)

Naming Convention:

Branch and Master usernames must follow a lowercase naming format:

  • Master User: mobiloan_master_[org name]

  • Branch User: mobiloan_branch_[org name]

Step 2 - Configuring user rights for Branch and Master users

After creating the required Allps users, the next step is to assign user rights to both the Branch and Master Users.

  1. Locate the user in Allps-i and click the dropdown arrow . From the list of options, select "User Rights" to configure permissions for the selected user.

  2. To streamline the setup, click "Managerial Tasks" and "Basic Tasks" to automatically populate the required user rights (as shown in the screenshot).

  3. Verify that the following rights are enabled: for both branch and master users

Application Access User Rights

Client Credit User Rights

Client Maintenance User Rights

Promissory Creation User Rights

Reporting User Rights

User Rights Related Errors

Ensuring that the correct rights are assigned will allow users to perform necessary operations within Allps-i and Mobiloan. If you're experiencing "User does not have the required User Right " errors, then it's most likely that either one of the above rights aren't enabled for either the branch or master integration user.

Step 3 - User configuration for Branch and Master users

The branch and master users have unique configurations that are determined for their respective roles within Mobiloan.

  1. Select the 'User Configuration' option from the dropdown menu of the corresponding user.

  1. If you are configuring a branch user, use the configuration template for branch users provided below to set the appropriate configuration values.

  1. If you are configuring a master user, use the configuration template for master users provided below to set the appropriate configuration values.

Branch Users vs Master Users

The master user is less restrictive than the branch user and importantly must allow for commission payouts (future client deduction required must be switched off).

Step 4 - Assigning Branches to Users

For each newly created user, follow these steps to assign the appropriate branch:

  1. Click on the dropdown menu next to the user's name.

  2. Select the "Assign Branches" option.

  3. A list of available branch codes will be displayed.

  4. Choose the branch code that corresponds to the user’s designated location.

  5. Confirm the selection to successfully link the user to the branch.

This ensures that each integration user has the correct branch access for seamless operations. ✅

Step 5 - Terminal Configurations

USB Terminals

To properly configure USB terminals, follow the steps below and refer to the screenshot for guidance. Ensure that all settings are correctly applied in the Terminal Configuration Settings to avoid integration issues.

Branch User Requirements:

  • Each Branch User must have a MOBILOAN_[`xxxx`] terminal, where `xxxx` is the branch code.

  • A separate terminal must be configured for each branch using Allps USB terminals.

Steps to Create a New Terminal for a Branch:

  1. In Allps-i, locate the Branch User from the dropdown menu.

  1. Select the "Terminal Configuration" option.

  2. Click the "Configure New Terminal" button.

  3. Complete the necessary fields as per the terminal settings.

Mobile Terminals

A mobile terminal operates as a standalone user in Allps-i, meaning its configuration is limited to assigning the necessary user rights. This ensures that the terminal cannot create, edit, delete, or perform any non-integrated actions, maintaining security and proper system behavior.

When Amplifin issues a mobile terminal, they will typically pre-create the mobile terminal user within Allps-i.

Your primary responsibility is to verify that the mobile terminal user has the correct permissions assigned.

To confirm the mobile terminal’s user rights, check that the following permissions are enabled: ✅

Step 6 - Starting the Allps Session in Mobiloan

Starting the Session in Mobiloan

Now that you have successfully configured both your Branch and Master profiles within Allps-i, the next step is to activate the Allps integration within Mobiloan.

  1. Enter the branch user logon name and password associated with the user you have created in Allps-i

  2. Repeat the process for the master user

Once the session has started, Mobiloan will automatically attempt to log in to Allps-i using the provided credentials. If the integration is successful, a confirmation screen will display the session details, including branch information and assigned user rights, as shown in the screenshot below.

Testing Terminal Integration

Branch Assignments in Mobiloan

The next step in finalizing the integration is to select which branches in Mobiloan to assign to the given Allps profile

The Allps setup is now complete. Please ensure that all required fields are filled in. You can now verify that the new Allps object has been successfully created.
