Step 1 - Client
To begin creating a new category we will need to define the client type, category name, and age limit of the new category.
The screenshot below depicts the first step of this process: "The Client Step".
Client Type
Selecting the appropriate client type is a crucial step in the process. What always helps to identify the correct client type is to determine what is the primary source of income for the band of people that fall into this new category. Also, identify any other commonalities that may fall into this band.
Mobiloan offers five predetermined client types, namely Old Age Grant, Disability Grant, Other Social Grant, Worker, and Self-Employed.
While each of these types has its unique attributes, the primary differentiating factors are their source of income or employer, as well as the frequency and dates of payment for workers and self-employed individuals.
For grant recipients, it's essential to note that payout dates are subject to change. Mobiloan maintains an up-to-date list of confirmed SASSA payout dates.
Age Limit
This is the minimum age a client must be before they can take a loan with your business and is normally set to 18.
