Login Security Features
Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
Mobiloan safeguards your account with two-factor authentication (2FA) when logging in from a new device. This adds an extra layer of security beyond just a password.
Upon logging in from a new device, Mobiloan will prompt you to register it as authorized.
Verification is done through a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your phone or registered email.
This 2FA system prevents unauthorized users from accessing your account even if they have your password.
Benefits of 2FA
Stronger Defense: Combining your password with the OTP creates a significant hurdle for anyone trying to break into your account.
SurePhrase Authentication
A SurePhrase Passkey adds an extra layer of protection to your user
Here's how it works:
Unique Passkey
During operator enrollment
, you'll be prompted to save a unique 8-character passkey.
Randomized Prompts🔒
Every time you log in, you'll be presented with a prompt asking you to enter a specific set of characters from your SurePhrase Passkey
. These characters will change each time, making it significantly harder for someone to guess your entire passkey.
Step 1 - Creating a Surephrase Passkey during operator enrollment
Step 2 - Logging in - Entering 3 randomized characters from your passkey
This system offers significant advantages over using only a traditional password:
Reduced Guessing Risk: The random character prompts make it extremely difficult for someone to guess your entire passkey, even if they have access to some of the characters.
Stronger Defense: By combining your password with the SurePhrase Passkey, you create a two-factor authentication system that adds a significant barrier against unauthorized access.
