Login Security Features

Two Factor Authentication (2FA)

Mobiloan safeguards your account with two-factor authentication (2FA) when logging in from a new device. This adds an extra layer of security beyond just a password.

  1. Upon logging in from a new device, Mobiloan will prompt you to register it as authorized.

  2. Verification is done through a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your phone or registered email.

This 2FA system prevents unauthorized users from accessing your account even if they have your password.

Benefits of 2FA

  • Stronger Defense: Combining your password with the OTP creates a significant hurdle for anyone trying to break into your account.

SurePhrase Authentication

A SurePhrase Passkey adds an extra layer of protection to your user

Here's how it works:

Unique Passkey During operator enrollment, you'll be prompted to save a unique 8-character passkey.

Randomized Prompts🔒 Every time you log in, you'll be presented with a prompt asking you to enter a specific set of characters from your SurePhrase Passkey. These characters will change each time, making it significantly harder for someone to guess your entire passkey.

Step 1 - Creating a Surephrase Passkey during operator enrollment

Step 2 - Logging in - Entering 3 randomized characters from your passkey

This system offers significant advantages over using only a traditional password:

  • Reduced Guessing Risk: The random character prompts make it extremely difficult for someone to guess your entire passkey, even if they have access to some of the characters.

  • Stronger Defense: By combining your password with the SurePhrase Passkey, you create a two-factor authentication system that adds a significant barrier against unauthorized access.
